Sustainability and employment regulation

Research lead: Maurizio Falsone

Sustainability and employment regulation research stream analyses how the regulation of individual and collective employment relationships contributes to the goals of full employment, decent work and a safe and healthy working environment for all workers, including immigrants, women and precarious workers.

The main goal is to identify and propose best practices for corporate implementation of the external discipline on personnel management for a virtuous and long-term balance between efficiency, productivity and social sustainability.

In particular, non-standard employment relationships and the phenomena of company fragmentation with effects on personnel (procurements, outsourcing and re-internalization, agency work) are studied in-depth.
